What is self-care and why is it important?

Self-care is a way to build your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Exercise; going to the gym, walking, biking, running hiking, martial arts are all good ways to improve your physical health.

Mental health has an impact on our physical health, as well. Doing things you love, practicing gratitude, creating novel experiences can help you fight physical illnesses. It can prevent workplace burnout, relationship strains, and promote self-esteem, as well.

Here at the Green Man Farmhouse, we believe in self-care. The owners paint, draw, do photography, write, exercise, and spend time with our pups. We spend time outside reading, looking at the wildlife that inhabit our small copse of trees, and drinking coffee.
